Pickering Infant and Nursery School ask that children wear the following uniform:
* jade green sweatshirt or cardigan
* white shirt or polo shirt
* grey skirt, dress or trousers, or a green gingham summer dress where appropriate
* black school shoes or plain black trainers
* plain socks
For PE from Reception, we ask that children bring to wear:
* a plain white round neck t-shirt
* a pair of plain navy blue or black shorts
Class teachers will advise parents and carers of what footwear will be needed when for PE. Where children are doing most areas of PE inside of the school, footwear will not be required. When children are outside for PE or when covering areas that involve ball skills such as football, children will need black plimsols or a pair of trainers.

There are no minimum order quantities and your uniform will be delivered directly to your chosen address. Please note that delivery charges are applicable but we have taken the charges into account when negotiating the best value supplier overall for you as a parent.
As well as uniform with our school logo, you are also able to order plain items such as PE tops and shorts should you wish to do so.

Although branded items are available to purchase from School Trends, these are not compulsory. All items of our uniform can be purchased in a range of shops/supermarkets. We also have a number of pre-owned items available in school. For children who are entitled to additional Pupil Premium funding, they will be eligible for three free school jumpers or cardigans at the start of each academic year that they attend our school.
