Outdoor Learning

Our learning environments include large outdoor learning spaces for our Reception and Nursery classes, a multi level outdoor learning space for our Year One and Two children, a large sensory garden with plenty of space for growing our own fruit and vegetables, a large playing field, a well equipped wooden trim trail and our own wooded Forest School area complete with gated pond and fire pit.

Our Level Three Forest School Teacher has worked with our staff team to develop our own bespoke Forest School curriculum that supports teaching and learning of specific outdoor skills, building self-confidence and self-awareness in our children and developing resilience as learners.
